Our Story

From kitchen experiments to a full-blown beauty + wellness biz,  here’s how it all started.

Back in 2016, I did the big chop and dove headfirst into my natural hair journey. Not because I was broke (I could’ve bought products), but because I was curious and creative. I wanted to see what I could mix up with a little shea butter and a lot of hope. To my surprise, my hair was thriving.

Fast forward to 2019 — I moved to Edmonton, Alberta, and by 2020 my hair started breaking like nobody’s business. I mean, every time I combed it, it felt like a crime scene. Turns out, I had anemia, which was behind the breakage and thinning. So, I cut it all off (again) and started over.

But this time, I went deeper. I learned how to infuse herbs into oils and water, mastered my own creams and butters, and even took a course in natural product formulation. Slowly but surely, my hair started flourishing again. I moved back to Ontario in 2022, started locs, got stressed out, cut them, grew it out again, tried locs again (smaller this time), hated the interlocks, and yep, cut it again in March 2025. It’s a journey, okay? 😅

Through every season, growth, setbacks, and restarts, I’ve always kept it real and shared my story. Natural products work. Herbs, butters, and oils have changed my hair and skin, and I believe in their power 100%.

I officially launched my product line in late 2020, and even though life made me pause here and there (hello stress, low confidence, and doing it all solo), something always pulled me back. In 2023, I went back to school for Advanced Medical Spa Therapy to expand into facials, massage, and body treatments. Now I get to combine my love for healing with my handmade scrubs, oils, and skin sets: it’s the best of both worlds.

These days, if I’m not in the treatment room, you’ll find me in my zone whipping up formulas, designing labels, or being a mom to my two beautiful kids. I genuinely feel like I’m walking in purpose, serving others, one glow-up at a time.
